When Teero is the better fit#

  • You want someone else to work your denials and appeals end to end. Teero's specialists fight them; FirstOps flags them with what to send and leaves the refiling to your office.
  • You also need temp hygienists. Teero's staffing business is separate, but it is one vendor.
  • You run Eaglesoft and want a vendor that names it today.

When FirstOps is the better fit#

  • Your practice is small or mid-size. Below about $40,000 a month in insurance collections, Teero's $800 minimum is an effective rate above 2%; FirstOps is $750 flat under 250 claims.
  • Your collections per claim are high (crowns, implants, ortho). A percentage charges you more for the same posting work; a per-claim price doesn't.
  • You run Curve Dental, or another system outside Teero's posting list.
  • You see a lot of Medicaid. FirstOps posts Medicaid dental remittances today, including MassHealth, and reads them line by line for frequency limits, other insurance and recoupments.
