Questions

Is there a long-term contract?
No. FirstOps is month to month. If it stops being worth it, cancel and you are not billed the next month. We would rather earn the next month than lock you in.
How does the free trial work?
Every plan starts with a 2-week free trial: no monthly fee while we connect your payers and start posting, so you see the work in your own practice management system first.
What is the setup fee for?
A one-time $500 to get you set up: integrating all your payer portals and your practice management system, and configuring the practice-specific posting rules your office wants.
What counts as a claim?
One claim is one patient visit billed to insurance, the way your practice management system counts it. A $50 exam and a $900 crown are each one claim.
Why not a percentage of collections?
The work of posting a claim does not grow with the size of the payment, so your bill should not either. Our price follows how many claims you have, which you can predict, not what payers decide to pay.
